About Us
The International Office is mandated to connect the University with the international arena of
research and development through collaborations with different foreign universities and
academic organizations. Since its inception, the International Office has continued to endeavor
for excellence in meeting its agenda of developing a proactive approach in initiating linkages
with reputable institutions around the globe. The International Office addresses every query and
concern of inbound and outbound students. This office extends administrative and
documentation support to incoming international students and researchers who are looking
forward to getting the benefit from the wider research avenues available in Pakistan. It also
shares the International Scholarships, Internships and Fellowships with students and faculty.
Moreover, the International office also provides assistance and facilitations to local researchers
and students planning to study abroad. It aspires for an inclusive culture, promotion of research
and innovative global engagement. With that end-goal, it provides support for international
students and scholars by developing in them international, intercultural, and interdisciplinary
competencies through innovative curriculum, global partnerships, creative activities, and
community engagement.

Mission
The mission of the International Office of USTK is to facilitate and enhance international education and cultural exchange by:
⮚ Recruiting, admitting, and supporting a diverse and talented international student body that enriches our academic programs and contributes to a vibrant campus community.
⮚ Providing comprehensive support and services to international students, scholars, and staff, including academic advising, immigration support, cultural adjustment assistance, and social and recreational activities.
⮚ Promoting study abroad and exchange programs for our students, faculty, and staff, and facilitating partnerships with international institutions that enhance our academic and research programs.
⮚ Cultivating a welcoming and inclusive campus environment that values diversity, promotes intercultural understanding, and prepares our students to be global citizens.
⮚ Providing leadership and expertise in international education and cross-cultural communication to the university community and beyond.
⮚ Develop partnerships with international institutions and organizations to promote research collaboration, faculty exchanges, and joint programs. Identify areas of research excellence and work to develop joint research projects with international partners.
⮚ Foster a strong sense of community among international students, scholars, and staff by organizing cultural events, social activities, and leadership development programs. Develop a network of alumni and supporters who can help mentor and support international students after they graduate.
